to get to on this wednesday. weather once again going to dominate the news. >> so let's find out what we are in store for. here's meteorologist lynette charles. >> we have another active weather day. especially across the middle of the nation and this will begin to march towards us going through time. but already, we are seeing in indianapolis some showers and thunderstorms severe in nature. let's show you the video because we have been seeing some downed wires and snapped trees across the area. lots of rain falling this morning. we can see this right now at the gas league station and we can see the fact that trees have been reports of trees have been falling into houses and telephone poles or blocking fire trucks as well. look at that snapped tree right there. this is the potential that we can be seeing as we go into the afternoon time frame. i want to show you the fact that, well, not only is it around indianapolis today, we are dealing with some storm damage and today neigho --

tornado damage in tennessee. this is the line that you can see the boeing line. that means that you're getting some convective wind. so windy conditions across the area but also some tornado warnings now. several just to the east of mashville. so just know that this line is marching towards us as we go through time. right now, though, we are dry. we are dealing with lots of fog out there. mild conditions that temperature coming in at 55 degrees right now in west friendship. and as we go throughout the day, temperatures will soar 64 but i am forecasting a high around 68. if we get a little sunshine we could see 70 across the area. the calm before the storm as it begins to move our way. let's check the abc2 timesaver traffic with lauren cook. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. fog is a problem across the reg unlet expect reduced advice -- region. expect reduced visibility. 95 at mountain road, everything is moving along. you won't have trouble traveling down to white marsh and from there into the city. as we head up to baltimore

story of how the state came together during tough times. the governor will discuss how the state is number one in education and invasion and in regional job recovery. he will discuss what choices we can make together to keep creating jobs expanding opportunities and strengthening maryland's middle class. and also happening today, maryland dog owners and supporters will gather at lawyer's mall in annapolis in peaceful demonstration them the want to show support for all dog owners including pit bull type dogs. many were disappointed with the court of appeals decision in 2012 that said pit bulls are inherently dangerous. there will be a public hearing on the pit bull's compromise bill coming up about 2:30 this afternoon. now it's important to know the governor's state of the state address will be streamed live on the website at abc2news.com starting at noon. sherrie johnson, abc2 news. now he is found guilty of misconduct john leopold could lose his jobbate as the county executive. today, there's going to be a request at county council to

introduce a bill to have john leopold removed from office. council members vote monday. if five of the 7 vote in favor he will be removed as county executive. a judge found the anne arundel county executive guilty of misconduct. today the teen charged with shooting a felly perry hall high school student on the first day of school will be in court. robert gladden junior will fine out if the trial will be held in juvenile or criminal court. the victim daniel borowy spent time in shock trauma but is now back at school. in lieu of the shooting baltimore county is working to make schools safer for kids to learn. county unveiled a plan to step up security and every medel and high school in the county has -- middle and high school in the county has a resource officer but elementary schools don't. they want to add more cameras that will stream live video into police headquarters and precincts.

and it will be a new controlled entry system at every door. tough news this morning a baby is dead and her mother in critical condition and she is charged with the child's death. deputies were called to a homein joppa for a child in cardiac arrest. firefighters tried to revive the 9 month old but she died at the hospital. her 19-year-old mother is there and police say she tried to kill herself. she is charged with murder and child abuse. here's a story to make any parent sick. a girl logged in the cage allegedly at the hand of her mother's boyfriend. police in new mexico arrested the child's mom and her live-in boyfriend. they say the couple took the woman's 3 other children to the movies and left her 8-year-old daughter locked up in a wooden cage. officers say that the girl was not physically hurt. they are doing what they can to right the -- penn state is doing what they can to right the wrongs of jerry sandusky

we are almost there. 4 days and counting until the ravens play in the superbowl and fans are getting excited. there's one family in harford county that is showing off the purple pride with the video that has gone viral on youtube. linda so is live this morning at m and t bank stadium with the fans. tell us all about them. >> reporter: they are huge ravens fans. they have their own jerseys and watch the games together. and they are a family and when the ravens beat the patriots, up with this song called ravens are fighters and they posted it to youtube last week and it has more than 30,000 hits. take a listen. intolouisiana and everywhere in between some severe weather happening. so to the east of nashville right now getting lots of tornado activity across the area. so this will begin to slide its way off towards the east as we go throughout the day. and we will have the potential for some severe weather as we go in here. this cold front finally passes through by tomorrow and on the backside of it we will be dealing with cold air and with that well we have the chance for some snow in the forecast. especially as we go into friday. but in the meantime, make sure to get out and enjoy this morning. the high temperature coming in right around 68 degrees. let's check the abc2 timesaver traffic with lauren cook. >> reporter: good morning. here's fog in baltimore county. you will want to be extra careful traveling on 83 this morning. but no delays from york road down to the beltway. if you are heading downtown, this is what 95 looks like at 395. traffic is moving along. you won't have any problems getting to the fort mchenry tunnel. a normal 8 minutes right nownorthbound from the beltway
